Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls.

Intinerary

DAY 1: Ernakulam- Wayanadu

Journey starts from Ernakulam by 09.00 am, Thrissur 11.00 noon, Calicut 03.00 pm.O/N stay Wayanadu

DAY 2 :Wayanadu - Coorgu

After Breakfast, by 07.30 am, Journey continues to Coorg. Visit Golden temple (Tibetian settlement), Nisargadhama, Raja Seat & Raja Park. O/N stay Kusal Nagar  

DAY 3: Coorgu – Belur –Halebeedu - Sravanbelagola

Morning proceed to Belur. Visit Chennakesave temple. After lunch visit Halebeedu and Shravanabelagola (Shravanabelagola got its name from the words ‘Bel’ and ‘Kola.’ In Kannada language, Bel means white, and Kola means pond, hence it is an allusion to the beautiful pond in the middle of the town. Shravanabelagola reached its architectural and sculptural pinnacle under the patronage of Gangas of Talakad. 17.38m high statue of Lord Bahubali (Gomateshwar) at the Indragiri Hills, is the major attraction here). O/N stay Kusal Nagar  

DAY 4 : Coorgu- Ernakulam

After breakfast, Check out & visit to Dubare. By noon, return journey to Ernakulam (Via Calicut, Thrissur) Reaches Ernakulam by next day early morning.

Terms & Conditions

Booking : For confirming the seats, Rs.3,000/- has to be remitted while booking & the balance amount has to be settled 5 days before the tour departure.

All the passengers are requested to carry Govt. approved photo identity  while at the package.
